Covid/ Prednisolone
So after avoiding it for almost 3 years, Covid has finally struck. I tested positive on Tuesday. At present have a bad head cold, aches and pains and yesterday a high temperature. This evening a cough has started. My concern now is that in the first week of January I needed a 5 day course of prednisolone

Endo & Uti’s
Hi folks, Just wondering if anyone has air of suspected UTIs or the feeling of a UTI with there Endo? I get quite often the feeling of soreness and sensitivity you have with a UTI but often urinalysis strips show negative or trace. Is this a normal symptom of Endo or is it even a symptom? It’s so

Ongoing thyroid symptoms
hi everyone I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid in 2018, after years of symptoms (mainly fatigue, dizziness and nausea). GP ran a full thyroid check after a scan on my neck for something else showed that my thyroid was inflamed. Tests came back showing antibodies (so I assume Hashimoto’s?)

First post covid run!
I’ve been taking it gently since catching covid, but am feeling ready to start the running again. I’ve done some fast walking earlier this week and yesterday got out for my first run. It went really well! I did take it easy but it felt comfortable so I kept going…. And ran at a decent pace for well

Covid during pregnancy
I’ve just found out I’m 5 weeks pregnant after 3 years of trying, 2 years under clinic for infertility and 3 rounds of IVF/ICSI and 4 days after my positive preg test I’ve tested positive for Covid. I spoke to emergency midwife at hospital last night who said Covid can’t affect the embryo and to rest

Bacterial diversity and COVID-19
Some people have mentioned on this forum that COVID-19 has affected their IBS or caused a flare up when they had otherwise been stable (though someone also mentioned relief from IBS during infection). I came across this article whilst looking for something else, which might provide (at least part) of

Covid booster

Covid - some thoughts……
Well after 13 days I am finally testing negative (2nd clear test today). The whole experience has has left me feeling a bit angry that the government ditched all precautions and left the general population feeling like ‘it is all over’! After 3 years and five vaccinations and still always wearing

My story - vaccines, Covid, questions and some things I've learned
This is a long hard story to write, but I hope it will help others. I think that is what this forum is about - our experience in an effort to help others. And it is to ask questions. I would ask that this be given respect and not be turned into a debate. I just want to tell my sad story and my many

The bumpy journey of a relapsed CLL with a weird and confusing chest CT scan
A year ago I had a CT scan to assess my CLL which confirmed my anxieties that I was beginning to relapse. In April/May it became very clear that I would need to start treatment very soon due to a low HB(70) and low platelets (32) I was covered in bruises, lacked energy to be able to teach for a full

Pensions/Ill health retirement
Could use some advice, as needing to think about my wellbeing and ill health retirement since recently getting diagnosed with NASH-related cirrhosis but with a raft of other issues. To give an overview, I have been struggling with work since January 2021 when contracting severe Covid-19 when hospitalised

COVID VACCINE MANDATE
