First post covid run!

I’ve been taking it gently since catching covid, but am feeling ready to start the running again.

I’ve done some fast walking earlier this week and yesterday got out for my first run. It went really well!

I did take it easy but it felt comfortable so I kept going…. And ran at a decent pace for well over 30 minutes.

I’m very happy with this all, so it an onwards and upwards 😁.

As someone who is currently at the tail-end of covid and missing my running, this is great to hear - well done!🙂

I had virtually no symptoms but waited more than three weeks after my first negative test result. I did a few faster walks first and things seemed ok so I gave the run a go!

Covid does indeed do this, so it really is a good idea to take it easy and not rush back into exerting!
