CT Scan - Update
Platinum-based Gemzar if I’m high percentage ER-positive or
Immunotherapy
with Abraxane if I’m low percentage ER-positive as that is counted as being triple negative, which
Immunotherapy
has been approved for.

Cryptogenic Organising Pneumonia
If you are still reading I also have
immunotherapy
ie immuglobulins 4 weekly low dose as I have CLL diagnosed April this year and have repeated infections requiring hospitalisation. I was a fit and healthy woman still working when this all started.

Immunotherapy (Keytruda) and COC protocal
Ladies, my
immunotherapy
starts next week. I am currently on COC protocal. I am taking mebendazole, metformin and statins. Have yet to add the antibiotic. I am wondering if I can continue the meds while on
immunotherapy
. I have also written to COC and await their reply.

What to do after chemo?! Immunotherapy trials!?
I want him to get
Immunotherapy
. Everything I read says it extends life. IMHO life extension is what it is all about not PSA level. Does anyone know of any trials for
Immunotherapy
(Provenge, check point inhibitors etc) he could get in at this time?

Starting Immunotherapy Keytruda
Dear All, I am about to start Keytruda as my blood tests shows mismatched repair deficiency for which
immunotherapy
is advised. I have chronic asthma and so am really scared that the treatment may harm my lungs. I have read that keytruda can have bad side effects.

Almost 3 weeks since first Immunotherapy
Hi all Haven't posted for a while, feel that I've been so busy, but after thinking about it I realise that I'm not any busier that I used to be, everything is just taking so much longer to do! No significant side effects from immuno so far apart from breathlessness and a horrendous sounding dry cough

Moving forward with treatment: Xtandi and Provenge
I asked him about provenge and mentioned the latest study showing that men who received the
immunotherapy
when their PSA was less than 5 did substantially better then men who received it later.

Ways to Improve Cancer Immunotherapy-- progress continues
One of the problems with checkpoint inhibitors is that they do not work for everyone and target specific mutations only, but less than 50% of patients reap the benefits... Wouldn't it be so much better if 50% or more gained benefit from these drugs being administered to them?? Scientists at Washington

Memory books; letters to family for after I pass on (which I hope is a long time)!
Please know my new mantra is I’m living with stage 4; not dying from it and I will survive until a cure is released (personally I think it will be
immunotherapy
and or combinations of targeted therapy with the unknown “magic bullet” that I’m sure may well be lurking unbeknownst to us in clinical trials

New prostate cancer treatment concept
Recent clinical trials have hinted that combining
immunotherapy
and radiation therapy may be a powerful treatment approach for castration-resistant prostate cancer. https://medicalxpress.com/news/2019-08-prostate-cancer-treatment-concept.html
