Provenge immunotherapy
After 5.5 years on Lupron (no Zytiga, Xtandi, Daro, etc.), my PSA hit its highest points ever (1.92), although I'm still not 2 points above my lowest reading of 0.5 (only one of those). I'm metastatic and was at diagnosis, so still have prostate. I've been researching Provenge a bit, and understand that

Does Immunotherapy cause Vasculitis?
Genetic testing reveals its a type of cancer that may be treated with
immunotherapy
. We have an oncology appointment tomorrow to explore treatment options. My concern is obviously does
immunotherapy
have an effect on vasculitis? Thanks. Paul.

Is there a current Cancer Center that is a leader in
immunotherapy
Would there be any benefit in taking provenge after treatment when your PSA is low?

Starting Chemo in May via trial
We are hopeful for both good chemo results as well as a positive response for the
immunotherapy
. This trial stage is mostly to test feasability or delivering
immunotherapy
along with chemotherapy. Is anyone familiar with, or perhaps a patient, of this study that can share any thoughts?

immunotherapy for OVCA
just wanted to provide an update on using
immunotherapy
, in my case Opdivo and Yervoy. Some background: 6 years after my initial diagnosis of OVCA, it was discovered via a raised CA125 and subsequent CT Scan, that I had developed 3 tumors on my Psoas muscle of my back.

Missed treatment
I had my first
immunotherapy
and chemotherapy a while ago, on my second chemotherapy I had a reaction so the treatment was stopped. Has this happened to anyone else and do you still receive the missed treatment later down the line, thanks

Technology upgrades: new method to boost immune cells for fighting cancer
”aims to utilize cytokine proteins for potential
immunotherapy
. Unlike past approaches, their technique guarantees prolonged localization of immune cell-stimulating cytokines within tumors, maintaining the cytokines’ structure and reactivity levels.”

Not PCa related but very interesting: novel oncolytic immunotherapy yields enduring responses in high-risk NMIBC
Oncolytic viruses are something I have been following for a while, there is an ongoing trial also by imugen that involves PCa, this one does not, but data about response and duration of response are very encouraging https://www.cancernetwork.com/view/novel-oncolytic-

What remains?
He's had every treatment bar Lutetium and
immunotherapy
and he doesn't have the BRCA gene. Are we at EOL? He, although emaciated, believes that it's not over yet.
