Impact on your life by taking immunosuppressants?
I'm curious whether you've had to make adjustments around your life being on

. My son will be off to nursery in 4m and I'm sure will be exposed to a whole host of germs.

First FET - what grade embryo?
., clexane /
immunosuppressants
/ asprin as this is only our 3rd transfer so can’t conclude ‘repeated implantation failure.’ We haven’t done ERA or any other ‘add-ons’ to inform this FET. Has anyone else gone through this thought process and can offer advice? Thanks in advance 💜

Haven't posted for a while, but always read the helpful information shared. Just not much good at writing. A quick question...are dog was scheduled for a kennel cough injection today. Before administering it, the vet asked if any of us were immunosuppressed or had health conditions that required medication

Sanofi vaccine and shark liver oil
I don’t think this has been posted before but the fact Sanofi is for over 75s makes sense if the shark oil is an immune booster and apparently is also given in the flu vaccine for the over 75s. I wonder if those with fish allergies/vegans were aware, but thinking people have probably had it and been

Safe travel
Apologies if this is not directly relevant. I know there are a few members from New Zealand on the forum so hoping I can pick your brains! I’m travelling next February to New Zealand to visit my son in Auckland and travel around the country. This will be my second trip but this time I’m also keen to

Discitis nearly killed me. I suspect streptococcus B was injected into me by Hormone injection for PCa
I have PCa. I am also immune suppressed due to kidney transplant. In February I started hormone injections due to BCR. A couple of weeks later I started to get back pain. Doctor prescribed pain killers. After about 6 weeks, many blood tests, consultations and an MRI scan I was diagnosed with discitis

SLE patients may have reduced response to COVID-19 vaccination
Yet, withholding
immunosuppressants
had no significant effect on disease activity comparing the time before the first vaccine dose with the period immediately following the second vaccine dose.

Hi all. Back from a fabulous holiday in Scotland, hence not posting for a couple of weeks. I had my 6th covid booster the day after our return. 5mg lifelong dose of pred
My mum has been on pred for PMR (with two occurrences of GCA 5 yrs apart) for about 40 years. She had a break of 2 years in remission after being on pred for 3 years. Then it all started again and since then has never been able to go completely off the steroids. From her second start about 30 years

Candida with Cellcept
I am being treated for primary ethromelalgia, Sjogrens, and Scleroderma. Has anyone had oral thrush associated with taking Cellcept? I have been on Cellcept for three months and IVIG for 14 months. Today, the inside of my lower lip exploded with white bumps. My research indicates that Candida is common

Covid booster prednisolone dose criterion - NHS
Update to post below: Thanks firstly to all who responded illustrating the inconsistency in Covid booster policy. Anyhow, after being refused a booster by my GP practice, I received an NHS text asking me to come in for a booster as I “may” meet the criteria … again to be assessed when presenting myself
