First FET - what grade embryo?

Hi all

We’re due to begin our first FET next month. We have 5 embryos frozen. Some average, some good quality.

In our initial consultation I asked what grade embryo would be transferred, worst or best. We were told the best will be transferred first.

We’re grateful to be in this position, however, as this is the first FET, we can’t help but think it may be a bit ‘experimental’ and we’re worried about losing a top grade embryo.

We’ll have a medicated cycle with estrogen and progesterone.

We won’t have any additional support I.e., clexane / immunosuppressants / asprin as this is only our 3rd transfer so can’t conclude ‘repeated implantation failure.’ We haven’t done ERA or any other ‘add-ons’ to inform this FET.

Has anyone else gone through this thought process and can offer advice?

Thanks in advance 💜
