Candida with Cellcept

I am being treated for primary ethromelalgia, Sjogrens, and Scleroderma. Has anyone had oral thrush associated with taking Cellcept? I have been on Cellcept for three months and IVIG for 14 months. Today, the inside of my lower lip exploded with white bumps. My research indicates that Candida is common side effect of immune suppression.

Any suggestions on how to treat this would be greatly appreciated. The treatment has improved my quality of life and it is not something I wish to stop. Many thanks!

I have. Keep being prescribed Nystan which improves it a bit but never goes away sadly

Thanks for this recommendation. Happily, I am gargling three times a day with one part apple cider vinegar, one part warm water. I swish it around my mouth for about 2 minutes. It has almost cleared it up in 3 days.

Oh that's brilliant! Unfortunately I can't use things like vinegar as I have a burning mouth and throat but so glad you've found something that works 😊
