For anyone who has children, or close contact, and is on
immunosuppressants
, have you been around children who have had the live flu vaccine and been ok?

Frustrated, stressed and finally starting Ruxolinitib sometime soon.
I have low platelets, lymphocytes and on
immunosuppressants
for my Sarcoidosis. Is there a way that I can persuade either hospital to take me. Cambridge is only 23 miles from me so would be easier. Any advice would be great.

Deciding on dialysis vs. deceased kidney transplant at 76 years old
I will attain 76 years in August, 2024. I have been on hemodialysis since early May 2024. At one point I was eligible for only a living kidney. Now it looks like the transplant center will approve my placement on an urgent protocol so I can wait 3 years for a deceased kidney. I could live 10years

Hi everyone I haven’t been on much as all emails from Health unlocked going into junk -not sure how to change that ! Anyway - I’ve seen a periodontal specialist (referred by dentist ) and he wants to do treatment -I think it’s like a deep clean where on some teeth he goes down to where roots are

HRT with APS and Lupus
I was wondering if anyone takes HRT that has APS and or Lupus. I’m in blood thinners and on immune suppression drugs and also had a stroke so I’m not sure if this would be something I could take. Experiencing very low moods and crying a lot so thinking I’m peri menopausal. Thanks

slapped cheek
Hi, I work in a school, just been advised that there has been a case of slapped cheek. Immunocompromised staff have been advised to contact their GP. I’m on sulfasalazine for RA - anyone aware of this is anything for me to be concerned with? Immunosuppressive and immune compromised- are they the same

Starting Mavenclad!
I've been on Ocrevus since early 2022, and I really do believe that it's a great drug. But when I started it, I could walk around the block, and my relapses were what now seems pretty mild. After starting it, I quickly developed so much spasticity (pelvic and hip flexor pain) that it was interfering

Pneumocystis pneumonia - PCP
I am just making people aware of the above. This is fungi that in a healthy person would resolve in days. However, in immunosuppressed it can be fatal. I have never heard of this before. Because of taking immune surpression, this fungi has knocked me off my feet. I have been admitted to hospital, now
