acne type bumps 2 months post transplant.

Hello,

I appreciate all the feedback and stories on this forum. Really special people here to help and to listen.

I am 41 with no skin issues but I now have bumpies or acne maybe. Looks like a rash of bumps. It’s on my jawline, neck and chest. No improvement and this is a recent side effect. Immunosuppressants? If anyone else experienced this what did you use? Steroid creams or old school acne cream? Thanks.

Hi, I get flare up's every two to three months , my doctor prescribed DUAC cream, hope this helps

Hey. Thanks this does help. I looked it up. I’m been trying differin gel and steroid cream. I’ll ask my transplant team about duac with the antibiotic and benzoyl. I do feel like it’s a bacterial skin prob and not just random adult acne. Thank you

I had that problem when I was taking tachrolimus. The problem was much reduced when I was switched, for other reasons, to everolimus.

interesting. I did try envarsis a longer lasting tacro but I felt the initial symptoms of early post transplant and didn’t want to start that all over. Thank you for your help.
