Liletta coil
Hello, I have just had the coil fitted yesterday as my gp recommended due to irregular heavy painful periods. The procedure was terrible I've never experienced any thing in my life like that. I was advised to check for strings which I did today but I couldn't locate them. Not sure what to look or feel

Bi Ventricular pacemaker and ICD, please share your experiences
I have been offered a bi ventricular pacemaker and
ICD
as a result of my history of ischemic heart disease, various conduction issues, 30% ejection fraction, slow pulse rate. It is hoped getting both ventricles to beat together will improve pumping function and my general wellbeing.

extreme pain after coil insertion
4 weeks ago I had the mirena coil fitted to try and ease my endometriosis symptoms. It was uncomfortable at the time and I felt a really sharp pinch when it was out in place. The following two days were extremely painful with cramps and bleeding. Things then settled down for about two weeks. Then the

Hi I had an
ICD
fitted in November.. you might see quite a few questions from me. May I thank people in advance that have taken time out to answer. We have an annual travel insurance policy that isn’t due to expire before our next holiday.

Pelvic Pain Worse at Night
Hi all. Currently undiagnosed/suspected endo. Trying to document when I get flare ups of pelvic pain/cramping and notice any links/triggers. I don’t have periods due to having the coil (used to have incredibly painful periods/heavy periods) but still suffering from pelvic pain. If I get any spotting

IUD mirena coil fitted extreme pain
Hi so I'm hoping someone can reassure me this is normal and will ease in time. I just had an IUD fitted this morning I had no idea what to expect I figured it was like having a smear test, uncomfortable but not painful. This was not the case for me I found it extremely painful I had to use gas and air

Hospital in London?
Would anyone be able to please recommend a hospital in London where they actually respond and have time to treat you? I've been with King's hospital and having a horrendous experience. No proper advice, no response just trying to chase an appointment via the secretary but being unsuccessful. I won't

contraceptives after lap
I had a laparoscopy around eight weeks ago. The surgeons removed stage 4 endo from various organs including the bowel and got rid of some large ovarian cysts as well. They said after the surgery that they ‘got it all’. They’ve recommended I have a coil or go on the pill after surgery to stop the endo

Advice
My sister suffered a miscarriage in 2020 and since then most days she bleeds and loses clots easy size of my little finger. She has had internals, biopsies you name it and it’s been done. She was also told her womb lining was above average 16mm. Anyway long story short she was diagnosed with PCOS and

Awaiting scan
Hi, I had a GP appointment Thursday and have been referred for an emergency ultra sound and blood test. I'm feeling really anxious. I thought I had peri menopause symptons for months. I'm on estrogen only HRT as have the coil ( which is due to be replaced). I can only describe my symptons as constant
