Hi all, I recently knocked my ICD whilst carring out normal day-to-day tasks (I really should make up something more exciting!)No alarms on the ICD have sounded and I presume that everything is working OK as I've heard nothing from Cardio clinic (I have a home monitoring system in use.)
However, the shape of the unit feels different when touching the skin above where it is fitted, as if it has moved - is this even possible?
Think I'm going to contact the clinic in Monday, but wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar?
Any input would be appreciated 🙂

I read with interest your concerns over your pacemaker.
I think that they are almost bomb proof as far as that type of damage, the most common is the wires and their displacement.
like you { we seemed to have travelled a very similar path } a while ago I caught my pacemaker and it turned sideways to my body, after the initial shock at seeing this thing sticking out at me in the mirror, I pushed the corner of it and it went back into position.
Talking to the clinic the next day they said that it was not uncommon as the pacemaker is sitting in a pocket and they could remotely see that it was working fine.
It reminds me everyday how lucky I am to be able to notice it.
