When it all goes wrong ***triggered thoughts***
So my obsessive thought structure has led me in to the compulsive mania of trying to force fixes. It just makes things worse. To the point I am on the thinnest sheets of ice. I am not sure I will make the week at this point. I have therapy tomorrow and reached out to my therapist and the mental health

Period problems due to IUD removal?
Hi all, My periods have always been regular (30 day cycle) for the past 10 years. After deciding the copper coil side effects weren't worth it, I decided to get it removed after 7/8 months in a clinic in January. According to my period tracker, this would have been a day before ovulation. My period

Diagnosis nightmare
Hi everyone. I still get 'flutters' with my ICD, do you?
Hi all, I had a combined PM/
ICD
fitted in August. I am very fit and the whole episode has knocked me for 6. The Bisoprolol controls the flutters/palpitations 99% of the time, but very occasionally I get the odd 3 - 5 second burst of these, and then I start to worry.

Mirena coil urinating more frequently
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced changes to the way that they pee after having an IUS / IUD, and if that's 'normal'? Basically I have to pee more often, it takes ages, and I never feel like I'm fully done. I often have to go back a few minutes later. Also, during penetration (V

Oxygen pipe tangles
I've got a 10m extension tube for my concentrator. It arrived as a coil and seems keen on being a coil again. It forms twiddles, and then a huge ball. Really annoying. It doesn't respond to being straightened out. Any ideas?

Coil removal after 10+ years to try for a baby
I have had the coil (several) in for over 10 years, no periods that whole time. I'm wanting to start trying for a baby this year and need to bite the bullet with having my coil removed. I'm coming to the end of my contract in my current job and currently looking for a new job. We are going to need to

Oestrogen and progesterone course of medication following septum resection
Hi all. I've had recent surgery to remove a uterine septum. Consultant has put in a coil to stop the womb collapsing on on itself and have been put on an 8 week course of oestrogen and about to start a week of progesterone. I am having the coil removed next week but am unsure about the plan going forward

Entresto and dizzyness
Mitchell had his
ICD
fitted last week and all went well, What i would like to ask members is He started Entresto on a low starter dose of 24mg/26mg today he has been really dizzy, By that i mean when he gets up from the armchair and walks 10 steps or so, I think it is a BP drop that is causing this

Prostap
I'm currently having prostap injections. I've been on the pill prior, over a decade and a half and don't really want a coil fitted, as it's too painful. I am struggling with the quite a few side effects, such as mood swings, hot flushes, loss of appetite etc. Also I'm still getting pains in my pelvis

Still in agony after surgery
After 2 x years, 2 x surgeries and 2 x different diagnoses given (initially Pelvic Inflammatory Disease from the coil and now endometriosis) I am continuing to be in the same agony I was in before. The gynaecologist is suggesting to re-try the coil but I am so worried my body will again reject it, but

Here is some hope
What I am about to post I did not write. Lawrence Gregory is the gentleman who provided these words of wisdom in 3 different posts.. It is lengthy but definitely worth the read. Sit down and just read through this please. “OMG… What If Something Is Terribly Wrong With Me?” The first thing I have to
