Oestrogen and progesterone course of medication following septum resection

Hi all.

I've had recent surgery to remove a uterine septum. Consultant has put in a coil to stop the womb collapsing on on itself and have been put on an 8 week course of oestrogen and about to start a week of progesterone.

I am having the coil removed next week but am unsure about the plan going forward.... Has anyone else had similar experience or been prescribed oestrogen then progesterone?

I'm feeling apprehensive
