A gentle run after a few days off

I've had a sore throat and headache since last Friday so haven't been out for a run since last Thurs. I made myself go tonight with the aim of doing a 5k to just keep things going. After taking some ibuprofen to stop my head hurting I actually managed to keep going a little further. Happy to be back in my trainers :)

Well done on getting out Mike! I've read previously that ibuprofen is not a good drug to combine with running, worth checking it out online. Lots of varying opinions but i thought I'd mention it!
