Taking ibuprofen to stop endometriosis pain causing nosebleeds?
Hello, I have been taking
ibuprofen
every day for the past couple of weeks to ease the pain I'm getting from my endometriosis. I am now getting nosebleeds all the time and i think there may be a link between taking too much
ibuprofen
and nosebleeds. Has anyone else had this?

Joint pain and neuro referral
I am on clopidogrel and told not to take
ibuprofen
. Deep heat doesn't work for more than an hour, I'm in pain all day. Next thing is, I keep having brief visual loss episodes and they're not sure if they're amaurosis fugax or retinal migraines.

My docs at the VA wont prescribe anything for this condition except
Ibuprofen
. Ive read that
ibuprofen
breaks down the cartilage in the joints, so I try not to use it very often, only when I cant stand the pain or need to get some sleep/nighttime relief.

Can Rheumatoid be active without significantly increased Inflammatory Markers?
These to me are signs that my Rheumatoid might be active (I've been in 'remission' for about 3 years now and don't take any medications except
ibuprofen
), but I don't want to push back on my GP or call my specialist if I'm just going to get told that it's in my head again.

Top 4 Herbs to Reduce Inflammation Instead of NSAIDs -- Dr. Jockers. Long article, good information
"Taking NSAIDs (
ibuprofen
) is commonly suggested by healthcare professionals and regularly used by those who suffer from chronic inflammation and pain. The problem is that the long-term use of NSAID’s can result in stomach ulcers, kidney and liver toxicity, and leaky gut syndrome."

Getting more confused about medication
I also recently found out that
Ibuprofen
which I take as a painkiller, also causes ringing in the ears! I suppose it's all down to personal choice and balance but what a dilemma. Either reduce pain levels and have raging tinnitus or suffer the pain and have a quieter head.

I just worked out I have taken 19 codine, 26
ibuprofen
and 5 naproxen in a week! Including using a hot water bottle and heat pads and I’m still in pain. I can’t help feeling like this pain is never going to stop.

Major calf problem
I iced the calf when I got home and lots of
ibuprofen
gel. Feels like it’s going to be a few weeks off and then back to the early week plans with only short runs.

Newbie here with aching limbs
The aching wakes me up most nights on a regular basis, and I have resorted to taking paracetamol and
ibuprofen
3 times daily for the pain. I understand what the b12 injections are doing, but just wonder if I should be feeling this way?

Reiki helped
I suspect it was because i took an
ibuprofen
as they do make it worse for me. Its not so pulsing now and a quieter hiss. The reiki healer told me before he started that it was normal for it to lessen for a while but not completely go until after 3 to 5 treatments.

Paracetamol/

Meds affect blood tests?
I was planning on going tommorow, but realized I've been taking
ibuprofen
for pain as I have no other treatments as yet. I don't take it everyday, but today I have taken it several times. I'm wondering if it will affect my levels. I've googled it and found mixed results.

Use of ibuprofen and risk of Parkinson disease
Use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) in general, and possibly
ibuprofen
in particular, has been shown to be related to lower PD risk in previous epidemiologic studies. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/21368281/

From 10km to 10 minutes !!!
Had the last two weeks’ cocktail of cough medicines, steroids, paracetamol,
ibuprofen
and antibiotics addled my brain? I normally eschew the treadmill. Why would I go near it? But I did... and set myself the target of running for 10 minutes. Just a little Irishprincess style jogette.
