Hi all

Just a quick question

TSH

Oct TSH was 2.2

Nov TSH was 4.35

I was having testicular pain and was taking paracetamol and ibuprofen 3 x per day

Could this of caused my TSH to rise

1st dose was straight after breakfast and every 5 hours after.

I read that you should leave 4 hours before taking other meds

Thanks

Hi Paul1978,

Have you seen a gp or urologist regarding the pain. Taking pain killers masks the pain but there is something wrong. Pain is the body’s way of telling you this. There could be a number of things that have increased your TSH, under medicated is my first guess. Or gut issues. Do you have your other results ft3/ft4 WITH ranges and also ranges for your Oct/Nov tests above.

Please make an urgent appt with your gp. I hope it’s nothing more than a swollen gland.
