Painful first post graduation run
Well I actually saw the advanced nurse, she said carry on with
ibuprofen
and exercise. So last night I did a 20 minute, and it was 2am when my knee settled down. I’ve ordered a knee slip on support, I have got tape, but not using as rubbing in stuff.

HIP PAIN
pain in both his hips for some time - he is 55 - he does not walk with a limp so we have ruled out dodgy hips and it only seems to be when he is inactive for a certain amount of time ie. when he gets up in the morning or if he sits down to watch tv in the evening - recently he took cuprofen which has

Is anyone taking NSAIDs with their Taxols? It seems that research indicates that the effectiveness of Taxols may be extended.
Research indicates that where Paclitaxel (one of the taxols) loses effectiveness, or we become resistant to it by building up certain proteins in our system that fight the effect of Paclitaxel, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as
Ibuprofen
, licofelone and others that in turn fight these these

After viewing a program, that common meds like
Ibuprofen
when mixed with ACE inhibitors (Ramipril) and beta blockers (Bisoprolol) causes dangerous side effects. This stirred my curiosity, being a recent heart patient (stemi).

Should I Be Off Steroids?
On random nights, I also experienced mild to moderate wrist and/or shoulder pain which added to my night time discomfort and required that I take
ibuprofen
in order to get back to sleep.

First ever injury 😢. Am I doing the correct things?
I've been putting anti-inflammatory gel with
ibuprofen
on it three times a day, keeping my foot elevated and walking around with the help of a crutch.

3 Months post viral meningitis
Took some
ibuprofen
and forgot about it. A few days later I was having neck pain along with the worst headache I’ve ever felt in my life. Ended up going to the ER only to be diagnosed with a migraine. A few days later I noticed my neck was stiff and was having a hard time walking.

Discontinuation of prednisone
I use two times a day
ibuprofen
200 mg and probably three times a day one paracetamol tablet 500 mg each, while still continuing with my amytrip at night. Yes, there is some more pain, and I know the pmr has not gone, we know the kind of pain pmr produces , but I can just manage the Joel thing.

Endo relief in this heat!
I find that over the counter medication (paracetamol,
ibuprofen
, cocodamol and naproxen being amongst those I have tried) don’t actually help with the pain and I’m reluctant to take them regularly as otherwise I’ll just get used to them! Any suggestions for pain relief in this hot weather?

I spoke to her about some ongoing back problems (almost three years affecting the whole of my left side), ongoing fatigue (a few years) she asked if I took
ibuprofen
or aspirin and I said no, she asked me about my diet which I said I haven't had an appetite for a couple of years and she then said she

Ibuprofen/Anti-inflammatories + Methotrexate
I read somewhere that we should not take Methotrexate and
Ibuprofen
/Anti-inflammatories (incl. Aspirin) at the same time? Is this true? Did anyone take them together? what did your consultants say about this? x

Slowly reducing from 2.5-2mg need some advice please
She said I had sprained arm which would effect collarbones, so bit of rest and physio and take
ibuprofen
. Then more recently both knees/ legs are a bit stiff. Well I’ve been taking the
ibuprofen
on and off and all the aches and stiffness goes away including knees. My Dr thinks it’s not the PMR.
