Ok, got food poisoning over last few days. Very aggressive, really painful and into the bargain I forgot to take my high blood pressure tablet. My temp was over 40 and I was shaking like a washing machine and so Ill I couldn't string a sentence togethe!

Well, put a drip up and I was deperate for then to hear me I was in severe pain. They gave me panadol as they sent me home in a taxi

Anyway, ibuprofen is more effective but you can't take them on an empty stomach! Help!!?

You've definately been through it lately! Regards the ibuprofen your right about it irrating a empty stomach do you not have anything for acid reflux ie ompeprazole or gaviscon that would allow you to take the ibuprofen without it causing you any problems! I hope you start to feel better soon 😊

Great idea, didn't think of that. Thankyou. I would love there to be a 'tips' page for all of us to access.
