Laparoscopy and period?
I’m due for a laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
on Tuesday and thought it would be just before my period however I’m getting all the signs that it will likely appear over the weekend. I’m realky worried it will mean I can’t have the procedures - has this happened to anyone and has it been ok?

I’m in hospital and they are doing something else!
He’s also suggested to do a
hysteroscopy
(sp?) which I obviously didn’t know about until now! Which has worried me even more. I know it’s a good thing, as they are going in to check womb etc, but it’s made me even more nervous than before!! I’m trying to really hold back the tears.

Post lap day 3 - advice needed
Had a laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
on Tuesday morning. They found endo on my womb, on both the uterosacral ligaments and a uterine polyp, all of which were removed. I was also told I have a heart shaped uterus, which was news to me!

Just found out!
I was diagnosed with endometirosis last April and had a lap and
hysteroscopy
in May. I was put in the menopause from April with my last injection in October. I have been heavily encouraged to start trying to conceive by consultants and gps.

Experienced endo sufferer
Was pushed from pillar to post with gps and finally after a scan and
hysteroscopy
was diagnosed with endo. In those days there was no internet so i had to read up on treatments. After using many different hormone meds that did nothing i was put on zoladex which was relatively new in those days.

Finally have a plan, 5th time lucky 🤞
So I’m going for a natural FET in March following my
hysteroscopy
. My consultant has said he doesn’t like the ovulation kit I was using and has recommended a different one so I’m going to try that next month for my own re assurance.

Laparoscopy
I was wondering what the
hysteroscopy
is as I have never had that mentioned to me. I am struggling with my eating disorder and I know I need to put weight on to be able to move forward but my mind won't let me.

PID or endo?
Had an USS a year ago which was normal and was referred for laparoscopy +
hysteroscopy
following a colposcopy. Didn't have this due to personal reasons at the time.

Pain after laparoscopy
Had laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
+ polyp removal last week. All fine (tubes ended up being clear, so no removal), but since the op, I've been experiencing some bad pain down the left wall of my vagina, plus bacterial infection symptoms seem to be returning.

Hysteroscopy
Today I had a
hysteroscopy
which was completely normal. Although I’m very glad about this I left feeling very disheartened - I am sure that my constant bleeding and pain is not right but the nurse I saw today put everything down to the wrong contraception and discharged me.
