Hi,

I'm awaiting a laparoscopy/hysteroscopy to confirm the diagnosis of endometriosis (GP/consultant are pretty much certain based on the symptoms and other medical conditions being ruled out). I just wanted to know more information about managing the symptoms. I'm 27 and want to have a family but am scared of the options available for helping managing chronic pain and what the effects will be on my fertility. I've only ever heard of endometrial ablation...can anyone who has received treatment for endo give me any more information on treatment options? I suffer quite badly with the pain and have been signed off work the last two weeks due to my symptoms. I guess I'm worried about what help there is out there to reduce the pain and fertility problems. Any information would be much appreciated.
