Delayed period after hysteroscopy

Hey everyone x

For those of you who have had a hysteroscopy how long after the procedure did it take your periods to return to normal?

I had egg collection and hysteroscopy in December. I bled around 10 days later making that cycle length 26 days. I am now day 31 and no sign. Was just wondering if others have experienced similar? x

The reason your period is late could be due to your recent egg collection - it can take a couple of months for your periods to go back to whatever is the norm for you Might be worthwhile giving your clinic/consultant a call to discuss your concerns May help put your mind at ease

Take care

Thank you xx

I’ve had 6 egg collections and never been like this. I’ll contact my clinic though just to run it past them xxx

Hello,

My period immediately after my hysteroscopy was delayed by a few days (I had mine a few days before my period was due), but not the next cycle.

Always worth asking the clinic if you're concerned.x

No worries and fingers crossed for you.

Your body has been through a lot recently, so probably just taking a while to reset. xx

Hi there, I had my hysteroscopy on day 6 and that cycle ended up being 39 days, so my period basically came 5 weeks after my hysteroscopy. My cycles tend to be on the longer side. Hope this helps and your clinic gets back to you xx

Thank you xx

This is my second period not my period after the hysteroscopy. I’ve spoken to the clinic and they don’t seem concerned. So will just have to wait xx

After my hysteroscopy my cycle didn’t change and period came as usual. Stims can sometimes make my cycle a lot longer or shorter on the next one though.
