Can adenomyosis hurt all the time?
As I’m 37, the gynaecologist doesn’t seem very keen to give me a
hysterectomy
, but I’ve had kids and I’m happy with my family so I don’t understand why they’re being that way, especially as my life is currently ruined. Any help would be appreciated x

Adenomyosis pre op help.
There is a chance I could end up with a
hysterectomy
. I’m approaching 30 and have one child. I’ve spent a long time considering this and now am in so much pain I have no choice.

I've been told that they wanna switch me from the pill to the mirena coil as this will help symptoms, they don't want to do surgery as I don't have children yet and want to in the next couple of years, and they are worried if they do the surgery they may find more and may have to give me a

Monitoring while on prostap and awaiting surgery?
I am on the waiting list for a
hysterectomy
and my ovaries removed due to stage 4 endo, adenomyosis and an endometrioma, with bowel involvement (7 months on waiting list). I'm wondering if I will need blood tests before continuing on prostap?

Uterine fibroid condition
Diagnosed as womb covered in fibroids and will likely need a
hysterectomy
. Currently on NHS waiting list. Finding condition debilitating physically and emotionally, is this common or just me? So lethargic most of the time abs sometimes feel anxious. I take iron tabs.

What treatments have you had for endometriosis?
The thought of having regular laparoscopy's makes me panic and I'm not ready to have a
hysterectomy
as I'm only 28. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Zoladex and Mirena question? Need help.
Okay so I’ve been on zoladex for two years awaiting a
hysterectomy
but due to covid the waiting list is so long they have taken me off the zoladex as the gynae doesn’t want me on it any more. So I had a Mirena fitted a week ago with the hope it will keep my periods away.

Recurrent endometriosis/endometrioma
My consultant had previously mentioned
hysterectomy
as a potential consideration (this was before the diagnosis of the new cysts). Any advice from women who have had a
hysterectomy
(whether total or partial)? Any premenopausal women who decided to remove their ovaries?

Hysterectomy after Thyroidectomy
I had a
hysterectomy
6 weeks ago (ovaries intact) and I had a thyroidectomy 2 years ago. I was just put on progesterone for night sweats. Does anyone know if it will effect my levothyroxine dosage?

Pain
I have been on Deceptyl for 12 months, I’m awaiting
Hysterectomy
, Total including ovaries. At first the injection worked well. Now I appear to have light bleeding pain left side. I feel very unhappy and beginning to feel it’s been a long wait. Has anyone else experienced this.

Can Endometriosis still survive 20 years post hysterectomy if taking Oestrogen ?
In 2001 I had an
hysterectomy
which included removal of my womb, ovaries and most of my cervix. I was immediately presribed oestrogen and have had no further pain issues over the years.

Help please
but the back, pelvic, pain an sciatica pain are horrific, sometimes sex is painful, I've had the injections to start the menopause however that ended due to an allergic reaction, last September, but during that time I was pretty much pain free, the doctor at the hospital says he won't go down the

Bulky uterus - Adenomyosis?
I also understand that adenomyosis can only be definitively diagnosed in the case where the patient has a
hysterectomy
and a test of the uterus tissue is done.

Post operative treatment options, help!
From the start to finish today I was told a lot of misinformation, for example; irregular periods are not caused by endo and I would need to seek medical advice else where AND the only cure is a
hysterectomy
... (I’m 27) both of these I know are not true.
