Adenomyosis pre op help.

Hi, I’m new on here but have suffered with endo for a long time. I’ve had 3 ops to date and my 4th is fast approaching. This time they are going to take away affected tissue and muscle inside my womb. There is a chance I could end up with a hysterectomy. I’m approaching 30 and have one child. I’ve spent a long time considering this and now am in so much pain I have no choice.

I’m scared about the op and although my husband is so incredibly supportive I feel the rest of my family and friends just don’t understand. I think some family think I should just put up with the pain, but more days than not at the moment I can’t even get out of bed on my own. Just looking for support/advice ahead of the operation I think. Thank you.

I was offered a hysterectomy at 28 I refused and suffered horrendous pain for a further 8 years. The last year I was bleeding every day for 9 months. You have to do what's right for you. I was 36 when I had my ovaries removed unfortunately it hasn't helped much so now awaiting yet another lap to see whats going on but I'm now 39 and I just want them to take my womb away. I have no children my wife and I are planning on adopting. Do whats right for you. No one can understand the pain unless they suffer with It themselves xx
