Endometriosis diagnosed, awaiting hysterectomy
Hi, I was diagnosed with Endometriosis 4 weeks ago and have been told that I will need a
hysterectomy
. I have now been referred for an MRI scan and Kidney scan before I will have a face to face appointment with the Gynaecologist. Has anyone else had this and how long did this take?

Light brown pigmentation under jawline only, hypothyroidism issue or something else?
I had a
hysterectomy
17 years earlier and did not have this light brown pigmentation could this be from the thyroidectomy? Any ideas on how to get rid of it? I tried those skin lightening creams but they haven’t helped.

Question on treatment options (long)
I am 67, breast cancer survivor (diagnosed 2014 with stage 1 and did not need chemo or radiation but did take a pill for 5 years and had a double mastectomy) and in 2021 was diagnosed with endometrial stromal sarcoma which was treated by a complete
hysterectomy
and chemo.

Investigations
I was told today nothing else can be done as if that didn’t work for pain then an
hysterectomy
won’t work. I have endo, PCS, fibroids and cysts.

post hysterectomy and bowel resection
Had total
hysterectomy
and bowel resection 5 week's ago. Still no appetite and so tired, feel stronger in myself physically but feel lifeless. Got pinky/brown discharge too. Should I still be feeling like this, is it normal? Coping with temporary stoma too. Fed up!!

Feeling really low 7 weeks after full hysterectomy
I had a full
hysterectomy
at the end of June. I was initially feeling on top of the world after the surgery, the best I had felt in years.

hysterectomy

unsure of what to do next
Also does this mean I have stage 4 , what type of surgery will I need , I’m expecting to be advised to have a
hysterectomy
but will it be straight forward , I understand some of the terminology but not all. Has anyone else had similar results etc. would be grateful for any info or advice.

Prostap, bleeding and pain
I have been on prostap since October following excision in July, my specialist said I could be on it for 2 years then he would look at a possible
hysterectomy
. I struggled at first with low mood but patches have helped.

Has anyone had HRT implants? Would love to know your experience and where you’ve had them done please
It’s my only option left as I have dreadful menopause symptoms since my
hysterectomy
. As far as I know they’re not available on the NHS so I’m wondering if anyone can recommend a private clinic/hospital or particular doctor who does implants?

Bleeding post hysterectomy
Hi, I just wondered if anyone suffered from spotting 2 weeks post
hysterectomy
? I am having terrible issues with my bowel so I am having to go to the loo a lot more than a normal person so I’m worried this has done something bad to the vaginal stitches.

Induced chemical menopause
Hi ladies, my consultant is offering me to be put into a chemical induced menopause, via injections to shut down my ovaries for 6 months to see how I feel, then perhaps the possibility of a total
hysterectomy
including removal of the ovaries. Has anyone else experienced this?

VENT on Endo Appt yesterday and something he said that just annoys me
Anyway my Endo said to me you know you should stop the Estrogen since your at menopause age (had
hysterectomy
at the age if 32) for ovarian cancer and oncologist said I could stay on Estrogen as long as I want because my cancer was not estrogen driven.

I’m so confused- precancerous changes
She said treatment options would be having mirena coil then regular biopsies/ testing then regular reviews. The other would be
Hysterectomy
but given I had heart condition & overweight it would be huge risk as well as only being 33. She seemed dead against idea of this right now.

Bladder and bowel function
Hi I had a total
hysterectomy
almost 3 years ago for post menopausal heavy bleeding. since then there have been negative side effects from this major surgery. I must stress that it did cure early stage cancer which was addressed very quickly for which I am very grateful.
