Newbie(ish) - feeling very down
I'm usually a completely glass half full person but I've felt really low for the last couple of days. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia at the beginning of 2016, as well as chronic sacroiliitis, to add to the rheumatoid arthritis, lower back issues and bursitis that I already had. What has really

So, I know exactly what bloats me and keeps me putting on weight: refined carbs and sugar. I've almost cut out sugar but its so hard living with my chocaholic father and an impressionable 4 year old! Carbs are another issue altogether... honestly I'd rather go vegan than live without bread or rice.

Hydrotherapy so excited
Pathetic. I am actually excited that I have found a complimentary therapy that feels good and actually works, lovely lovely warm water, resistance jets to help build back muscle tone all with a physio. Oh bliss. Hubby did point out that as three sessions a week are recommended ( can't afford more than

Anxiety will lose its power when you stop trying to feel better
Cure from anxiety will remain elusive if you continually strive to make yourself better. I'll go for a cycle and that will make me feel better. I'll go swimming, that will make me feel better. I'll try hypnosis, that will make me feel better. Hard exercise did make me feel better for brief periods after

Weaning off morphine, gabapentin and amitriptyline to try for baby, in A LOT of pain, don't think I can do this.
Hi guys My name's Kirsty, I'm 37, and I've suffered with chronic pain for the past 8yrs due to an annular tear in my spinal disc (L4/L5) and some facet joint damage. I jumped through hoops for years, having MRIs, trying different meds, physio, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, TENS, mindfulness meditation

Piecing ourselves back together
How do we do it ladies? I desperately want to change my mindset - I was so depressed about infertility last year & anxious during 2WW and believe my frame of mind negatively affected the outcome. I would love to be able to flip a switch in my head & just turn off all the worry, but I don't know where

My tinnitus and I
Hello, my name is Sunny and I am a tinnitus sufferer and "sufferer" is definitely the correct term. I can't put my finger on the exact moment it started but almost three years ago I was sleeping in a very quiet place and suddenly noticed that it's not that quiet, not for me anyway and it has been going

Lung test
Went with my mum today for a third lung test. We were pretty worried. She smoked for 50 years and stopped when I was in hospital 8 years ago. (I wish I had!) Changes to be made from today, change in tablets, an inhaler, more exercise, lose weight. This appointment was a focus for me to stop, which I

Audio Books
Since I started with Anxiety (and started with insomnia!) about 6 months back used the time to start using my audible tokens for something useful. Will update as and when I read them but the two I do like so far are.... Dare by Barry Mcdonagh. Havent got through much of it yet, (good sign if it sends

I suffer with Severe IBS - At whits end now
I started
hypnotherapy
which has helped a little but not a huge amount. I went to occy health and the were useless in my request to come off nights, which would have helped me for a bit I think. Does this all sound like IBS or what, I am at whits end and cannot take much more of this.
