pain from Hydros?

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone who has had/has a hydrosalpinx, did it cause you pain and how did it feel? Where was it centred to?

I know I have hydros but I'm unwilling to remove both tubes if it isn't the root cause of my pain. It just feels like it's my tubes that hurting, I can't explain it!

Hi MeganMae. If your hydrosalpinges become inflamed or infected they will be painful. If you develop a temperature or it continues you must get checked out, just in case you might have a tubal pregnancy developing?? Obviously, I don't know how badly your tubes are blocked, so best to get checked out just in case. Good luck! Diane

Yes I had hydros, but wasn't in any pain that I can recall. I didn't really suffer with period pain either.

I did have both my tubes removed tho as it is thought, if you are going to have Ivf treatment, that the fluid from the Fallopian tubes can stop the embryos implanting.
