Asthma very unstable.
Hi all. I'm sorry to post again but just after some reassurance I guess. I have had to attend hospital twice in the last 5 days (I also had an asthma attack about 2 weeks ago and was blue lifted from GP surgery) for nebuliser and iv hydrocortisone treatment following exacerbations. Tuberculosis mutation discovery paves way for better treatments.
The ability of Mycobacterium tuberculosis to survive during prolonged treatment has been attributed to either transient stress responses or fixed heritable drug-resistance–producing mutations. We show that phase-variation in the M. tuberculosis glpK gene represents a third type of resistance mechanism

Taking Hydrocortisone with NDT - Endo suggesting it’s the final option
Currently taking 10mg Hydrocortisone with 3 grains Armour Thyroid. I tried Levothyroxine, Levothyroxine with Liothyronine and finally NDT and always managed to initially get some respite from symptoms on a dose increase but this never lasted longer than a week even when FT3 levels were at the top of

Who else has adrenal insufficiency and MS?

Vaccinations for Caribbean cruise?
I am going on a Caribbean cruise in January and I think I need some vaccinations, but Having RA and being on Leflunamide I am nervous that they won't be as effective. Think we have to have Hep B and Hep A and Typhoid, tetanus not sure on the Yellow fever. Any thoughts on this please.

Foreskin Redness / Irritation - Wash Daily - Some Days Better than Others
Hi Guys, I'm a 28 year old uncircumcised male that has been having some redness and irritation issues with my foreskin. I've seen a dermatologist who prescribed me with hydrocortisone, and while that does seem to help, I don't think becoming dependent on it is a good idea. I've used other hydration

Does a Malar Rash, muscle pain & tiredness make Lupus???
Hi, I have a rash - a VERY itchy, painful, raw, stinging, burning rash. I've got it above my right eye (inner side) under it and - without any visible signs - on my cheekbones and under my chin and on my collar bone. I am concerned that though this rash FEELS like Rosacea it is actually Lupus. And although

Rash on abdomen that is spreading and bruising
I have had a rash on my abdomen for a little over two weeks that has been spreading and now includes my breast, back, chest, and buttocks. It is itchy, and as of recently, there are bruises mixed in with the rash in some areas. As you can see in the picture it started as just a few randomly places

But my body was telling me different I was losing my hair, my scalp was red it was itchy along with the sweat, my wrist itch, my finger tips, and the bottom of my feet itch too. Constipation, and nails were brittle and not growing. I told him that his blood test would not supersede my symptoms. He said

Post attack advice please
Hi all So Tuesday i ended up going to a+e on blues and twos from my GP surgey. This is the first time it's happened. I know I grumbled about the asthma care I've received from my surgery but to be fair to them, they were brilliant. I had been struggling for a few days and using my ventolin A LOT.

Topical Steroid Creams for Phimosis
Hi. I suffer from phimosis. I understand that applying topical steroid cream to my foreskin can help stretch it. Has anyone here used topical steroid creams? If so, which ones? Thanks.
