Torn, need low bp for afib but now got glaucoma and need higher bp
In a tricky situation, I didn`t know whether to post this in this group or heart group or glaucoma group. Maybe I will paste it to the others. I have had high bp for years and Afib too. Supposed inflammatory arthritis and fear of drug interaction with Apixzban , Digoxin and Losartan .
mitral valve repair in 2000, persistent AF i 2010. For past 5 years increasing joint pain . Diagnosed with multiple forms of Rheumatoid arthritis , Psoriatic, ankylosing, facet joint disease etc , now CPPD. Second different hospital contradicted the “rheumatoid” disgnosis and said I had Osteo arthritis

Morning high pressure
I have AF plus high blood pressure. These have been controlled with medication, Diltiazem Losartan and Digoxin . However , because I suffered with swollen feet ankles and fingers my GP changed my medication to a beta blocker, Atenolol .I take this in the evening as well as in the morning with losartan

medications slowing my heart down too much
following recent posts now on meds as shown below but feel totally wiped out has reduced BP but think it’s too low now, do I continue and just get used to it or discuss with cardiologist. Just feel on merry go round. Anyone else been through this when new meds are added. Currently on ASPRIN 75mcg

Hi All Looking for advice please I take 10 Lercandipine, in the morning , 20 Propranolol twice a day & 25 Losartan at bedtime without any side effects. I am sure it must be the football but my pulse has dropped to 45 not sure whether to take my 50mg of losartan this evening in fear of it dropping even further. Candesartan or Losartan any difference in side effects
on a separate post. explained am waiting for appointment re brightred flushed feet on 10mg Amlodipine. Effective reduction BP but obviously too high a dosage for me. But had 5mg and not enough. Ramipril gives me a cough. So possibly will be reduced back to 5mg Amlodipine and given Candesartan or

So I've been on this forum for approximately 2 years.When I was first diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease, my blood pressure had exceeded 179 /90; my eGFR 55. Upon seeing my PCP, I was prescribed Losartan 25 mg daily. I titrated dose 12.5mg twice day; I was overweight by 50 lbs. Now, 2 years later
