Hi everyoneAs posted here many times I have high BP and trouble with medications. Currently on Losartan 50mg from originally 12.5 mg but now having considerable surges in BP and insomnia worse than ever. GP has just tested for catechcholins
and I wondered if anyone else has had experience of this please? I know high levels cause high BP.

Hello Bobby, I see your GP is suspecting you might have a pheochromocytoma on your adrenals. I was also tested for this via a 24 hour urine test after massive surges in BP. Do you think you are having insomnia due to the worry? Have a read about Conns disease, this was my diagnosis after a long and complex journey involving many specialists , this also causes bp surges plus many other weird symptoms such as excessive thirst, muscle cramps and aches and digestive problems.
Just to let you know my tests for catecholamines came back clear today so very happy. However back to drawing board ref BP and meds. Thanks for all your comments.
