Stopping Losartan
Hello. I wonder if you can give me some advice. I am 73 years old. I have been living with some degree of hypertension most of my life, and on medication since I had an aneurysm in 2005. A dose which controlled my blood pressure of Atenolol 100 + Enalapril 10 was established not long after that, and

Inverse relationship between HR and BP plus Ectopic Beats
For the last two weeks my ectopic beats have greatly reduced after halving the Losartan from 100mg back to 50 mg which was the dose I was on before having flare ups.Went to see the GP yesterday armed with this info and he agreed to hal it but keep an eye on the BP. All good so far. Later in the afternoon

Watchman or not?
I was diagnosed with Afib about 3 yrs ago. I sometimes wonder if I do have Afib because I am not aware of any symptoms. I take Losartan and Diltiazem and Xarelto . Just recently was taken off of Propranolol. My cardiologist is proposing to implant a Watchman device. I have reservations about undergoing

Haz58
Hello Haz58, I’m sorry you are having such a rotten time in sorting out the medications which you can tolerate. I could not take Azapriothine or Methotrexate but have settled reasonably happily with a daily routine of Bisoprolol, Levothyroxine, Amlodipine, Prednisolone, Ursodeoxycholic Acid, Losartan

Are all Blood Pressure Meds Awful?
I realise they may be/are lifesaving, but after nearly 30 years I am running out of options for BP control. For many years I took 25mg atenolol, 20 Lisinopril and 1.5 Indapamide. The latter seemed to make the biggest difference. I can’t take large doses of beta blockers as they stop me from breathing

low blood pressure
I have GCA and I have been tapering prednisone for 3 years. I am on my second attempt at tapering prednisone and just got to 4mg. Last year I actually got down to 3 mg but suffered a 4th and acute diverticulitis attack which was too much for my sputtering adrenals. While in the ER the PA didn’t
