Bradyarrythmia

I had an ablation almost 4 years ago in feb 2020. Since then I have rarely had any arrhythmias, that is until now. They started out of the blue almost two weeks ago and are constant. However , they are not like before, this time the average beats are 60 per minute. They go as low as 42 and as high as 120 (when asleep too according to my iwatch).

My long standing medication includes verapamil 120 at night and 240 in the morning , Losartan, thyroxine and flecainide. The latter dose used to be 100 three times a day. I had reduced this to 100 a day over the last 4 years. I’ve had to increase it now to twice a day but to be honest it doesn’t make any difference to arrhythmia. As I sit here now my heart rate average is 55 with af and I’ve yet to take my morning verapamil (240). I fear it will lower my heart rate even more.

I have recently moved area so have a new doctor I have not even seen. I’m reluctant to ask them yet as they’ll just refer me to Raigmore which is over 100 miles away. That alone would stress me out as I hardly go anywhere.

Has anyone else had bradycardia with associated Afib? It’s hard to know which caused which to be honest. Any advice appreciated. ❤️

Hi, i have bradycardia with paroxysmal AF. My HR is usually around the 55 mark even when my blood pressure reading shows irregular heartbeat (i have no idea if it's the AF, ectopics or other causes as still waiting to actually speak to a cardiologist after being diagnosed PAF from a 24 holter monitor from GP in July. Sorry i can't be of any help though. Incidentally my HR showed as low as 35 during the night! I am also on Bisoprol 1.25mg but have been on this for years due to high blood pressure since last child and i used to get occasional SVT's which thankfully i don't seem to get anymore. Good Luck
