What to do after prednisolone rescue ended?

ADT and crying
Does anyone else that has been on ADT drugs for years have trouble with tears or crying for no real reason? I tear up anymore at just the thought of something sad. It’s a major pain in the ass, not to mention embarrassing because I am still employed. Wondering if there is a solution other than stopping

thrush in mouth
I have had antibiotics lately and have thrush in my mouth. I have been prescribed Nystan to take 4 times a day. The nurse /practioner said also rinse my mouth after using my steroid inhaler. The problem is do I rinse and spit or rinse and swallow? Swallowing is so much easier

Buprenorphine...help with prescription please!!
Since my neurologist retired and I found a new one, my pharmacy is not accepting his order for the buprenorphine because he's saying it's for RLS and the pharmacy is saying something about it is for pain but since this new neurologist isn't a pain doctor, he said he can't prescribe it that way even though

I was diagnosed with GPA in 2017, I have had 3 flares since initial diagnosis and although the symptoms have got milder each time, I always have the same symptoms - pain and loss of hearing in my ear, discomfort and blood in my nose, pain and stiffness in my finger joints and extreme fatigue. I regularly

COVID-19
Been battling Covid for 17 days. I am negative but have a lot of physical issues achy big time. Always exhausted. No motivation. Starting to take a toll on me mentally. Doctor says that sometimes it takes weeks or months to get rid of everything. I hate feeling like this

COVID & sulfasalazine?
After all these years hubby has passed COVID to me! Contacted GP, they have referred me to respiratory@home still waiting for them to call. Question is do I keep taking sulfasalazine.? I've called my Rheumy helpline but they've not got back to me and I've looked on here but can't find anything saying

COPD and Long Covid
Hi all, I've been ill for over three years with Long Covid and just last week diagnosed with COPD stage 2. Looking through my medical history COPD was mentioned back in 2005, but I was told it was Asthma! Just joined my local Breathe Easy group who are great and very supportive.

Wife getting MMR vaccine booster - isolate or not?
I'm an SLL patient, 55 years old, now about 2.5 years into remission after 6 FCR treatments. I just recovered from a recent (and thankfully mild) bout of shingles. My shingles was so mild that my GP wasn't convinced it actually was shingles! She had me tested for herpes zoster antibodies, and for good

Raised Blood Pressure after Covid
Not sure if this is the right Forum to post this on but I wondered if anyone who has high blood pressure and has had Covid has found that their blood pressure readings have risen since having it. I had an appointment with my Cardiologist this morning and showed him my readings over the last month orso

Finally, we may have found the smoking gun.
We had been able to put it aside, and the hospital agreed they had made a mistake when they said Margaret had Cirrhosis. And was, in fact, NASH with Grade 1 fibrosis. Still, NASH was a surprise, as Magaret was a nondrinker, not obese, and had no health conditions that would even be considered for

still not 100%
I don’t have a fever and my throat only hurts when I first wake up. Then it goes away. I have so much post nasal drip so I think that’s what’s making it hurt. I was out of work for two days due to my colonoscopy, and tomorrow is looking like it’ll be a snow day due to a huge storm. I am going to try

Covid Vaccines - Can you still book them?
Hi all, something that has slipped my mind but it’s been 6 months since I had my last Covid Vaccine. Are the Immune Deficient still eligible? If so how do we do it, is it via 119, or do we go to a walk in or are we referred (I hope not GPs hopeless) the online service doesn't allow bookings any more

Mask Wearing
It is the same here in Australia. You don’t have to stay home with Covid. I think it’s very unfair and irresponsible. I wear a mask in supermarkets, doctors, pharmacies. I don’t go to crowded places anymore- such as concerts etc. I missed out on Paul McCartney when he was out here. Would loved to have

How effective is fenofibrate for itch?
My doctor suggested a few different drugs, like rifampricin, naltrexone, and fenofibrate for my itch. He prescribed fenofibrate as he thinks it works best. Does anyone here take it and if so, has it helped? I'm worried about the warnings it comes with about severe liver damage.
