Adrenal Crisis or a Flare?
Evening all, I've been a casual observer for many months now - my PMR was 'gone' (ie in remission/on holiday/not troubling me) and I had adjusted to Adrenal Insufficiency and a likely permanent dose of Hydrocortisone and Vitamin D. I recovered from a dose of covid about 3 weeks ago. On Saturday afternoon

Immunocompromised?
Hi everyone I have looked at some pinned articles and still wanted to put this question out there. As a person who is Stage 0, is in W&W who has healthy RBC, Platelets and Immunoglobulin numbers… am I still considered immunocompromised? My WBC number is currently around 34. I work in large crowds

Trimbow update
I have been on the Trimbow three weeks now and it does seem to be working , I noticed I was walking faster and the use of my ventolin is much reduced . I still have a chesty cough lingering on after a cold but no infection , I need to ask the question does Trimbow make you cough? Just wondered as I

P.AFib and Covid
no doubt this question has been answered a few times but since showing positive with Covid this morning I have had two episodes close together which is unusual. Should I just go with them until my Covid test is negative and then see what happens? All your experiences will help me decide. Thank you.

thank you all for your responses on my last post. I am feeling better, but still congested. My boyfriend wants to come over but I’m so fearful I’ll get him sick, or that I actually have Covid and I’ll give it to him. I could go buy more Covid tests, but my friends told me that I shouldn’t because then

9 months away from running due to injury, but now able to start the programme again!
I completed the programme a few years ago, but have not run for 9 months due to injury. I have had a suspected stress fracture ( wasn’t in the end!), bilateral plantar fasciitis and peroneal tendonitis . I have had shock wave therapy, steroid injections and lots and lots of physio! However, today my

My Grim anniversary, Vaccine Type and Timing
With multiple fall vaccines now in use it seems timely to share our experience and advice on the timing of them. This has been discussed briefly in various threads. I invite comments on the below: In the past there was just an annual flu shot and its timing was just "sometime in the fall". No other

covid?
I was really congested so I took a Covid test. Unsure if there’s a faint line in the first picture. I took another test and was negative. I’m supposed to see my boyfriend but I’m so worried. I don’t think I can handle isolation again. Do you see a faint line in the first test?

Wife getting MMR vaccine booster - isolate or not?
I'm an SLL patient, 55 years old, now about 2.5 years into remission after 6 FCR treatments. I just recovered from a recent (and thankfully mild) bout of shingles. My shingles was so mild that my GP wasn't convinced it actually was shingles! She had me tested for herpes zoster antibodies, and for good

prednisone and antibiotics
Has anyone had a problem with antibiotics wiping out prednisone. Was down to 2.5-lowest in 8 years. Took antibiotics (Bactrim) and all old PMR symptoms came back. Hurt all over. Read Bactrim and Cipro are quinolones and do not work well with Steroids. Neither Dr or pharmacist knew this. Not sure how

UK Covid Enquiry
Well, the Public Enquiry is throwing up some interesting evidence. By definition, most of us with CLL are over 60 (not all, I know) and we are classed, whatever our age, as clinically extremely vulnerable. Our Government is reported as having said, according to Sir Patrick Vallance, "The PM says
