Trimbow update

I have been on the Trimbow three weeks now and it does seem to be working , I noticed I was walking faster and the use of my ventolin is much reduced .

I still have a chesty cough lingering on after a cold but no infection , I need to ask the question does Trimbow make you cough? Just wondered as I didn’t have a cough before taking it, it just could be a lingering cold. , I hope

Hello! Glad you're improving on the Trimbow, that's great news! I have been on it for over a year now and rarely cough, so I would think it's the cold hanging on. But keep an eye on it xx

Good morning MrsP70. I found that Trimbow was making me cough more throughout the day after a month on it. So went back on my Trelegy. Hope it works for you. Brian

Mmm, taken it for three weeks now starting week 4 tomorrow coughing and wheezing . I will give it another week and see how we go ,

Thing is I am using less Ventolin and am not quite as breathless.

I have also not seen a respiratory specialist only the Dr, I am in the Uk and the NHS don’t want to do anything nowdays or so it seems.

going to give it one more week the cough is embarrassing when I am out , I had to stop taking ramperil for bp because of the horrendous coughing attacks.

Yes Ramapril is known to give people a cough. I am on it as well. But I already had a cough before taking the tablet. I am also on Doxazosin. That's another b.p tablet. So your doctor has plenty of alternatives. Brian
