I was really congested so I took a Covid test. Unsure if there’s a faint line in the first picture. I took another test and was negative. I’m supposed to see my boyfriend but I’m so worried. I don’t think I can handle isolation again. Do you see a faint line in the first test?

covid?
That is a negative test result. The line you are seeing is the control line to say that the test is working correctly.
You don’t see a faint grey line next to the sample
I only see the pinkish red line next to the control, it would need to be a red / dark pink line for it to be positive. If you can see a feint grey line I would suggest that it is the chemical that reacts to the saliva that is used. Don’t worry I would definitely say it is negative
Yes I agree with Incognito C,its showing negative. Hope you feel better soon and enjoy seeig your boyfriend
Definitely negative...
I don’t see a line. If you took two and both show negative you should be fine.
Underneath the control samples in your photos, you’ll see how to read the results. A positive (+) test result would appear as TWO (2) RED LINES . A negative (-) test result would appear as ONE (1) RED LINE. You have one red line which equals a negative result. There should be more detailed instructions within your test kit boxes to help you in understanding your results better.
I see what you’re talking about. It’s not a true line that would make a positive. It where the test strip for detecting the virus is. I’ve had COVID multiple times. When it’s positive it’s obvious. It’s a dark line. No such thing as having “low level” COVID. It isn’t like a pregnancy test where it can be a faint positive because you’re early on. You are negative. Probably just some little virus or cold. Nothing to get all tangled up about, our bodies are amazing and capable
