I hope this wasnt all in vain
Please follow Russ' story as it is truly a miracle! However, I'll be brief. He survivored and conquered when the doctors said he couldnt. He had an anoxic brain injury and was still improving 1 year later, he beat odds, he had quality, it was hard and emotional but we were really making it work but apparently

Living with a head injury
I have been living with a head injury for about 5 and 1/2 years now. I have never known so much pain, fatigue and stress. I acquired my injury in an RTA. I didn't see the driver as I crossed the road on my way to school. I was taken to the late Frenchay hospital. Where they discovered I had an extradural

Antabuse advice please.
I have been prescribed Antabuse by my Dr (at my request) but they have been sitting in my bedside cabinet for the past 4 months ... Having read what they can do to you if you accidentally consume alcohol, I am very nervous about taking them. However if I don't, I know I am harming my body quite seriously

Finally at peace
My sweetheart and soulmate said his final goodbyes on Wednesday evening May 29. He contracted a nasty upper respiratory infection the beginning of May and due to his PSP could not clear his lungs. Was admitted to hospice care at home on May 3 and put on oxygen 24/7. After a few days recovery from oxygen

Five and a half year old bedwetting.
My daughter cannot grasp staying dry at night. Potty training her was super easy she was three and got it within a week. I've spoken to her doctor who says this is normal even though the NHS website says it's not. Only 1 in five children wet the bad at five years old. I've tried everything from reward

10yo had an accident at school
My poor 10yo DS has come down with a tummy bug. Yesterday morning he felt a bit off but had no signs of sickness and he is often tired in the mornings so went to school. Then about mid-day I had a call to come and get him because he had diarrhoea and pooed his pants. It happened in a lesson and apparently

Hi, I was admitted to hospital in the early hours of Tuesday morning as I woke up with bleeding. Burr hole victim lol
Well I was recently attacked by a tenant of mine on the day he got evicted. Even the cops can't seem to figure out what he used to hit me on the back of the head. Whatever it was it did a lot of damage. So while he is on an assault and attempted murder charge. He ruptured blood vessels in my head which

Burr hole surgery on15 March, 2019
I was operated on the above mentioned date. My stitches were removed on 26 March 2019. I ask doctor if I can travel by two and half hours flight. He said you are completely normal and you can do your normal activity. Only try to control your BP and blood sugar which is now under control with medication

Desogestrel
Just had my first consultation and have swapped from microgygnon to desogestrel. Been told to try this for 4 months and if it doesn’t help the next step would be the key hole surgery. Anyone had experience on this tablet? Did it stop periods completely? UPDATE : swapped to this pill. I’m now currently
