I was operated on the above mentioned date. My stitches were removed on 26 March 2019. I ask doctor if I can travel by two and half hours flight. He said you are completely normal and you can do your normal activity. Only try to control your BP and blood sugar which is now under control with medication. I want to travel in June end. I have no problem since operation and I am doing my regular activity I would like to check if any further complications can develop.

Burr hole surgery on15 March, 2019
Hi
You will be fine, your doctor has told you you are completely normal now, please trust him. You will have to declare your surgery on your travel insurance and they will ask any relevant questions.
I think we all sorry that the normal activities we used to do will cause us problems but please be reassured that flying by plane is a pretty everyday occurrence and you will be fine.
I have flown many times since my encephalitis and have no ill effects.

I never proof read my posts, it is not sorry but should be worry!
Wow, wish I was you. I had a Burr hole procedure two months ago, and my head is going haywire. Headaches, pressure in my head and extreme lightheadedness. Had a post CT scan after words and apart from some small residual blood that was leftover from the surgery there was nothing wrong with me. Though I'm still getting the lightheadedness and the pressure headaches. Consider yourself very lucky..
