Possibility of hip replacement anytime soon ?
My reason for writing this is to ask if anyone has been in a similar situation during the past couple of years and had any offer of a
hip
replacement
( or any other joint replacement ) in the near future . I’ve read all the media stories of elective surgery having to wait for a couple of years .

HRT for treatment of osteoporosis
Hi. Can anyone offer their experience of using HRT to help build bone density instead of the usual bisphonates ? I have had a REMS scan recently which shows similar (spine) and higher (hip) T scores than my DEXA although the strength of my bones is very good according to the REMS. I have a very low

Issues with HRT four weeks on
I’ve been taking 100mg of Utrogestan, 2 pumps of oestrogel and vagirux for a month now. Initially I felt calmer but now I’m feeling worse than before. I’m getting more genito-urinary symptoms especially the day after using Vagirux. It’s the same as Vagifem. Especially after dropping down to twice

Query low ferritin? Any help with iron results please :-)
Hi all Here again asking probably a similar question to one a few months ago :-) I feel I have some issues with iron. My bloods are in normal limits with very low ferritin reading, but I’m having increasingly significant hair loss, fatigue, shortness of breath (all chest x rays and scans clear),

Hello I have been on NDT and levo for many years now. I self medicate on NDT. Originally was on levo only, and it never worked well for me. I found that a mix of levo and NDT worked, this was after months and months of slow adjustments, and help from this forum. When I used NDT alone it sent my

Total knee replacement. Looking for advice, guidance and wisdom.
I have a few concerns about my upcoming Total Knee Replacement surgery and would really appreciate hearing from those who have already been through this. Main concerns. 1. Hi everyone! My little back story.... I was diagnosed with endometriosis back in 2015, skip forward to 2020 and my symptoms got a whole lot worse. I was diagnosed with severe DIE (bowel, ureter and pouch of Douglas), adenomyosis and an endometrioma all affecting my left pelvis. I had a hysterectomy

Feedback on private Blood tests please, before my Endo appt..
I posted earlier this month asking for advice before I see my Endo at the end of November. I've not been feeling too great and my Endo put me on Hrt as my levels were all in range and he thinks my symptoms are perimenopausal rather than thyroid. (graves/Rai Oct 21) I feel it's a mixture of both. Hrt
