Hearing issues
Hi folks Recently got back into work 8 months ago and I noticed a huge difference in my hearing especially when other noise is going on... I can’t hear anything as it all scrambled together. Not good when in an office and taking calls and talking to customers. I went for a hearing test and discovered

Audiology Hearing Tests
I just called my Audiology department in local hospital for an appointment as my tinnitus is getting louder now. Also asked about hearing aids with masks fitted to help ease the sounds of tinnitus. I’ve been told that there is a 6 or 7 week waiting list which I’ve now been added to. They don’t yet have

Professor Graham Hughes Blog: February 2018
They took the pro-active (and brave) decision with Mrs D.S. and her husband to add in a trial of low molecular
heparin
. Within one cycle, Mrs D.S. became pregnant. She maintained on both aspirin and
heparin
throughout a successful pregnancy. What is this patient teaching us?

Hearing tests
Hi,I'm a newbie here,,I have suffered with tinnitus in one ear for 14 years. I went to audiology for another hearing test yesterday after my hearing seemed to have deteriated. I was told that my hearing had worsened, but interestingly, the first I had 3 years ago was as bad as the one I had yesterday

CL and turmeric
BUT when I check it out one product site says "If you are taking any blood-thinning medication, such as warfarin or
heparin
, consult with your doctor before taking turmeric as it has been shown to decrease blood platelet aggregation (blood clotting)." So I am wondering about the blood clotting - ?

10dp 5dt Not feeling positive 😞
The
Heparin
has been a new and painful experience but I’d give anything to have to keep doing it every day for the next 9 months, nothing would make me happier!!! Tomorrow could be game over, for good 😢 Thank you to everyone for your comments and messages of support.

Hello...I'm a newbie here. Seeking Tinnitus help.
Hello all. I found your site after doing a search for Tinnitus on the NRAS page for Rheumatoid Arthritis/Rheumatoid Disease. I have had Tinnitus since December 2017/January 2018. I am seeing an ENT, but have only had one appointment so far. I am scheduled for a hearing test at my next appointment.

Extreme Tinnitus (ear infection?) - Help!
Something very strange has been happening to me since late February, and I'm rather worried. I wondered if anyone here has any suggestions (I'm seeing an ENT tomorrow). Timeline is this: Feb 21st: A nightclub decides to move into my head with an array of thumping-banging-booming sounds IN MY HEAD (

I was diagnosed today with Multiple Pulmonary Embolisms, I have been put on Warfarin and
Heparin
injections and will be back at the hospital on Thursday for further treatment. I am totally devastated and shocked.

HAS ANYBODY GOT A PROBLEM WITH BEING PRESCRIBED HEPARIN DUE TO A SHORTAGE ?
Has anybody else had a problem with receiving
Heparin
Clexane injections and does anyone have information as to what the shortage is all about as nobody can inform me of what is going on with this medication.

tips for going to Spain next week
I have my medication sorted out and my prescriptions printed out along with a letter to say I carry
heparin
syringes if need them and the lancets for my blood testing machine. My husband has organised assistance at both ends and SAGA has said that their rep will get me onto the coach.

Somewhat inevitable, I overdid it!
My heart didn’t feel stressed, so I am wondering if the after effects of
Heparin
and Fentanyl are to blame. Or is my body wiser than I think and it knows something is up? Anyone’s guess. Back in front of the TV and feeling absolutely fine! I think I shall stay here for a few more days.

Hearing therapist visit
I’ve been to see my hearing therapist today. I’m lucky I only had to wait 2 weeks for the appointment, but I’ve been seeing her on and off for 18 years. I’ve had a hearing test that shows my left ear (noisiest one) is heading towards profound in not picking up speech. My hearing aids are 12 years old

A couple of answers
He said if I have to miss one dose of rivaroxaban due to a tummy upset it doesn't matter; more than one probably does and if I have an extended period when I can't eat, to get in touch as I'd have to have
heparin
injections. Just what one wants with an upset tummy, not!!!

Living with Tinnitus
I’ve had tinnitus for over 35 years. It started a with a bad ear infection and never went. At the time I was told to live with it. At 23 years old I felt my life was over. But things did improve. Over the years it settled down and I never heard it until I got pregnant and then it was back so loud. After
