Sense of hearing
Research has shown that the majority of asthmatics have a greater audio frequency hearing range than non asthmatics, and this goes for what ever age range you are in. I recently had a hearing test and the audiologist confirmed that my frequency hearing range was above the norm. Anyone else notice this

Scared, confused and in need to help
I am now not allowed to have the following medications
heparin
, cyclizine and erythromycin. Last weekend I had another reaction, No idea what to this time. I again had to call an ambulance out ( as with each and every one of these attacks).

heparin
apparently the dr wanted me on that while I was in hospital to prevent clots. Agh, felt so offended by that - it's like he was treating me like an elderly pt (I'm a 23 y/o otherwise very healthy young adult, clots pfftt).

I don't feel so isolated
I also developed a DVT and had to have a
heparin
infusion, at same time my consultant also prescribed a small daily dose of aspirin (something that is not normally taken with an anti-coagulant); the drug azathioprine, an anti-depressant called thyridozine and warfarin.

Whats the future for my boy?
My now 9month old son contracted bacterial meningitis just over 3 months ago. He spent 3 weeks in hosp. At first he had no neck control and was like a newborn again but has since mostly regained that. At his most recent app with neurology they said his cognitive skills r good but his motor skills are

I have managed to convince them to put me on
heparin
and retake the blood clotting and ANA'a etc. I am really at the end of my tether. Any advice would be welcome. Les
