Rose hip syrup
Spent yesterday making our winter rosehip syrup, I add ginger and lemon to the recipe and it is just beautiful on fruit, cereal and cooked meats. 15 jars made.

High respiratory efforts in COVID-19 patients could result in self-inflicted lung injury
The impact of high breathing efforts on the lungs of patients suffering with acute respiratory failure due to COVID-19 has been investigated by researchers at the University of Warwick, who assessed the likelihood of resulting lung injury. Although mechanical ventilation is a life-saving intervention

1 year ago, last night, I was taken by Ambulance to the local A&E, from which I was admitted to the local Cardiology Ward, for the second time in a few months, and after being told I needed an operation fairly soon if I was to survive. Within the week I was transferred to Essex CTC where I was to undergo

Trigger (Not only fools and horses)
I have been trying for months to establish a trigger that sets off attacks of AF. I’m lucky at present that I’m only on blood pressure and anti coagulative medication as the attacks are short lived and are around every two to three weeks. I realise that they will increase over time which is similar

Abnormal ecg
Hi everyone, I have been having a few symptoms, which I’ve posted about previously - tight chested, lightheaded, dizzy and feeling like I’m not getting enough air. Today the dr wanted an ecg to be done, it was done by a nurse who then took the results to be looked at by the dr. When she came back

Heart Health and Alcohol connection?
I was wondering why alcohol is a no no when you've had a heart issue. Is it about calories , interactions with the medications, heart rhythm? I am not sure the reasoning. I get smoking, exercise and diet advice but not why the restriction with moderate alcohol consumption. If you have insight

Can too much denosumab cause heart problems?
His
heart

has always been excellent. Upon receiving first chemo treatment on 7/19, he was also given a one month injection of Xgeva, although he was not due for any injection until October 1. Could this be the cause of newly diagnosed heart problems?

High Cholesterol
Hi, anyone else experience high cholesterol despite having a healthy weigh/diet? I’m 35 and so not smoke. Currently feeling so anxious, my cholesterol is high 5.7 😢 the nurse further scared me by saying how this increases my risk of heart attack and stroke. I do experience chest heaviness and palpitations
