Persistent afib treatment options, can't tolerate Amiodarone - so many questions...
He's already on several supplements for
heart
health
and don't drink caffeine etc so no lifestyle triggers we can see. From some of the symptoms it feels like the vagus nerve and/or phrenic nerve is involved though.

Eight measures that can slow ageing by up to six years - healthy sleep and regular exercise may slow pace of body’s biological ageing

heart
health
goes up, biological ageing goes down.”

Are eggs good for heart health?
Hello! Anyone can advise if consuming 2 soft boiled eggs for breakfast daily is fine for the heart and cholesterol? I’m cutting down or avoiding carbs (no rice, pasta, bread), so wondering if having eggs are beneficial. Thanks, Bahn

Interesting article about Heart Failure and Thyroid Replacement…
By 2020, the World
Health
Organization projects that ischemic
heart
disease alone will be the most important global cause of morbidity and mortality.

Benefits of low carb and heart-health
Any personal anecdotes or research that points to following a low carb diet for healthy
heart
health
? What do cardiologists say about low carb? I do recall my cardiologist vaguely mentioning low carb? Not sure if it was for losing weight or something else tbh. What do you guys think?

Advice/Help
Hi all, I'm just looking for some advice please? I'm due to go in for a Laparoscopy next week, I've had heart surgery in the past but, I'm really nervous about this surgery due to complications in the previous surgeries. So I'm just trying to calm my nerves by being as prepared as much as possible.

Medical bracelet / necklace?
I'm likely to need warfarin for life after my upcoming heart surgery. I'm wondering if I should wear a medical bracelet or necklace once I start taking warfarin, so paramedics know I'm on a blood thinner if I'm ever in an accident. Do others wear such things? If so, how obvious does it need to be?

open heart surgery, aortic value replacement
my husband had surgery 6 July, we arrived back home Saturday. Any advice for recovering at home , he doing remarkably well, walking , stairs. Resting, but ! Hiding the laptop is difficult, mentally his mind is strong, but his chest wall is not, surely typing in a keyboard is not good ? Natalie

One year on
Today marks the first anniversary of my triple heart bypass. So grateful for the treatment I received and the support I have received from family and friends. My body has recovered really well and apart from a little discomfort when coughing or sneezing looking forward to the future. Feeling emotional

Unconfirmed ECG
To be clear, I'm also involved with the doctors on this! I had an ECG due to occasional palpitations and ectopic beats, which came back as 'normal sinus rhythm, possible septal infarct, QS in V1 V2, low QRS in voltage in precordial leads', unconfirmed interpretation. I made the mistake of Googling

Open heart surgery for ASD CLOSE
To everyone who has given me advice, I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for all the guidance and support you’ve offered since my open-heart surgery in April 2014 for ASD closure. Your insights and encouragement mean a lot to me, especially as I navigate the challenges I've faced
