Details around flecainide organising atrial fibrillation into an atrial tachy
Does anyone have any details around how/when this occurs and is it just a case of living with it? The nurses suggested I could try increasing flec from 50mg twice a day to 100mg, but if the flec causes the issues, I'm wondering if it would make things worse? I was put onto bisoprolol because of this

DP going in for heart bypass surgery.
DP is going in to the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh later in the week, beds allowing, for a double /triple /quadruple heart bypass, they'll decide when they get in there. He's really laid back, not stressing because he's generally really calm, but I've got the churny stomach, jitters and can't settle. Does

New ED Gell FDA Approved
From the Harvard Health Newsletter; Men will soon have a new option for treating erectile dysfunction (ED) that supposedly works faster than regular ED medication — and is available without a prescription. I don't quite understand?
So what is being "Policed" here is natural progression? Surely it is quite natural to progress a subject as it tumbles around an educated group and when it runs out of steam, someone else will bring the group back on track with another "CLEAN" post! That is how a democracy works - well at least I and

TAVI pre and post experience?
I have severe aortic valve stenosis (bicuspid valve) but am asymptomatic. I am terrified of the idea of open heart surgery, or any other treatment for that matter, but considering having a Transcatheter aortic valve implementation . I would be interested to hear about experiences of pre and post implementation

Spa visits
I have been invited on a spa day, and ‘
heart
condition’ is a
health
issue mentioned on the pre-visit form. I am not currently in AF but getting plenty of ectopic beats. I wouldn’t go in the steam room but was planning a massage. Any wisdom?

Sudden increase in resting Heart Rate?
Bit puzzled by this, wondering if anyone had any clever ideas? I've tried to ring the local arrhythmia nurses but not got through yet, emailed them yesterday but no reply so far. I'm on 1x1.25mg biso and 1x50 flec twice daily which appears to have been working Ok.
Saturday I did a local park run
