Ablation appointment take two …..
Deep breath and all fingers crossed, I’ve been given provisional appointment for cryoablation end of this month. They need to use an internal echocardiogram on me (ICE) due to previous heart surgery and clot risk. There is only one such thing in the locality which is why they had to cancel todays appointment

Adding calcium in order to strengthen bones
I do take vitamin K2 Question 2: Will statins do anything for my
heart
health
? A low cholesterol count doesn't mean less calcification as I understood and I am not sure statins will lower cholesterol levels.

T3 only and heart rate
I am a little concerned about whether the liothyronine is causing this and what the long term impact might be on my
heart
health
. I tried to reduce to 30mcg as a trial but quickly became hypo. My heart rate did lower down into the 70s though. Anyone else experience this?

I've been a bit quiet for a while but that doesn't mean to say I've stopped running. I've been ringing the changes with my runs and really enjoying them. Our park run was cancelled last week as part of the course was flooded but I got on the treadmill instead. I've also been going to my alternative

Apixaban (Eliquis) and Omega 3 supplements
Hey All!! Question...Are others who take Apixaban (Eliquis) also taking Omega 3 supplements (that include DHA)? I've read that it could be problematic...increase length of time for bleeding, etc. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Low blood pressure
I was diagnosed with AF in October ( now permanent but controlled)and heart failure in December(EF 32). I am now on Bisoprolol 2.5mg, Edoxaban60mg, Entresto24mg twice daily, and new one Spironolactone25g. My problem is that my already low BP plummets every time a new drug is introduced or an increase

Self sabotage
I’ve just started reading posts again after years off. Someone said something negative on a thread & I couldn’t face opening myself up to more of the same. I find that every time I start to make progress, I shoot myself in the foot. If I lived alone, I could just not have stuff in the house. As it is

AF for 4 days
I had my first episode of AF several years ago. I had another cope of episodes over a three or four year period. In January this year 2023 I was started on Apixaban but changed to Edoxaban a week ago because my blood pressure was low and I thought it was the reason for feeling tired. 4 days ago

Fatigue and lethargy
I’m stage 4 ckd, and I am experiencing fatigue and lethargy on a daily basis. I find that I have very little energy, and I can barely accomplish anything beyond a couple of small tasks. I also have stage 3 non-alcoholic liver disease, and had open heart surgery in 2019. However, my recent echo gram
