live blood analysis …migraines
Around 7 years ago following blood tests for TATT and various other ailments, it was found that I had a low B12 (156) and GP agreed to prescribe the usual injections… loading dose and then 3 monthly. After lots of research on this site and through trial and error I finally settled on SE every 2 weeks

Getting blood test for nutrients not found in common blood test
I have a few questions for the group. First my background information: I am in the USA. My diet/eating habits probably won’t change. My eating habits are only ok. My blood is drawn all the time: cbc, wbc, etc and every 6 months my complete thyroid panel is drawn. I have hashimotos, CLL and they are well

Is this classed as low folate?
I'm a little confused about my blood test results. I'm not sure if I am posting in the right group! MCH and MCHC were slightly high which can indicate macrolytic anaemia. GP said I don't have that because my B12 and folate levels are fine (which are the usual causes). However, I posted the results

So my sister has just found that she has haemochromatosis...
I've nagged her to follow up on her high ferritin results for the last year or so, though GP seemed disinterested with it above 700 so I sent her to give blood which bought it down to 400. Since then we have successfully got her GP to acknowledge her Hypothyroidism and prescribe T4 and I got her to

If anyone has a recommendation for an endo at Southampton Hospital can you dm me please? I have been on T3/levothyroxine combination for quite a while as I do not convert sufficiently on Levothyroxine alone. I recently increased my levothyroxine by 25mg a day following my last blood results and

9dp5dt, no positive test result, period missed 6 days
It is 9th day after FET. On the day 7, I had a faint line on the pregnancy test, only in the morning urine. Today it is much more faint, almost impossible to see, instead of getting thicker line. I am using sensitive dipsticks which are able to capture 10mui. My period missed 6 days. My fever is between

Upper back pain when I breathe in deep?
I have had nothing but trouble with my health just lately and I'm so fed up not getting any answers, I've had upper back pain on left side since Friday feels like a pulled muscle but it hurts when I take a deep breath and it's on my OHS scar so I'm hoping it's just a coincidence and nothing worrying?

Looking for someone to take blood for private at home test
I am having a private blood test and have been sent a kit to take the blood with. I cannot face doing this myself, does anyone have any ideas where I could go to have the blood taken? Superdrug was suggested but I wanted to have this earlier than 9am. Live in Watford/Harrow/Uxbridge area

Metformin
I was diagnosed with diabetes 23 years ago. At some point I was popped on to metformin. It caused lactate acidosis so they reduced it - still felt exhausted etc.. Anyway I had to have a major operation and was taken off it. I was kept off it due to the need to be resuscitated during the operation. That

I wanted to write this post to give you hope that miracles can … and do happen. I got my first ever positive result today after my fifth transfer. I’m 41 and am using my own eggs and it has been a long journey to get here. I know it’s very early days but I’m so happy and hoping for the best. I initially

Progesterone blood test
Hi ladies, I’ve been recommend to get a progesterone (day 21) blood test done. And planning for this cycle which is a gap between IVF ones. Any recommendations on where I can get this done? I’m based in West London? Thanks a million!

Follow up to back strain with a chest muscle strain. It never ends.
Hi again folks. You may remember I posted about straining a back muscle and feeling unwell. This happened 16 days ago and last Sunday I was hitching myself up the bed (using arms, not back muscles)and heard something pop in the middle of my chest. Another searing pain and still feeling poorly, not eating

Health Anxiety
I am a hypochondriac. I don't invent my symptoms (a lump here, a funny mole there), I get in a panic until I get resolution. I had an elevated PSA in September - not past the limit usually set, but higher and my Dr's said they wanted to check further. I'm waiting for my 3rd blood test (a much more
