They scheduled me for

new here, would like some tips
I have had
hearing
tests
which showed my
hearing
is fine. I can hear my tinnitus above the radio and tv, weirdly the only time I can’t hear it is when I’m driving. Can anyone give me tips or advise, as it’s driving me insane Many Thanks x

Sudden Tinnitus
Went to doctors, had
hearing
tests
, done an MRI, went to cardiologists in fear it was heart related- everything always came back fine. It became manageable and easy to ignore so I kept on except now I bought ear muffs to use during concerts in case ear plugs weren’t enough.

Since then I have had two
hearing
tests
both showing a rapid decline to profound loss of high frequencies.

My tinnitus story so far (9 months and counting)
Thankfully, after 24 hours it returned, and although my right ear is slightly below normal on
hearing
tests
, it's no longer a concern (touch wood).
Month 4 to 8 - Constant beeping
Thankfully, during the day I often barely notice the tinnitus because of general sounds around.

Does it get worse
All they could advise was, that nothing sinister like a brain tumour was causing the tinnitus and I pass
hearing
tests
. I am lucky in that most of time my tinnitus doesnt bother me, except when I sleep where I have to have white noise on to drawned it out.

Most of us here have Tinnitus, we all react differently to the Drugs. Some Medicines work better for us and not for others. I am trying to collect some research data, to also help myself, as I have pretty bad Tinnitus & to try some different Medicines that might work for me. There is a lot of info out

new to forum
hi there, I acquired tinnitus 3 months ago and had a hearing test last week resulting partially moderate to severe hearing loss. considering hearing aids as I am only 52. they are expensive though 3k for the cheapest ones. wondering how people have found the tinnitus reduction with aids?

Improved?
Had investigations for right ear polyp that had been present for over 20 years but making routine ear micro suctioning difficult (long standing over production of ear wax). Had hearing test but waited for results (October 2023). Went to concert 3rd Nov and mistakenly did not wear ear plugs. Very loud

Head tingling face, legs, and arms
Hi, I am a newbie here, so hope you are all doing as well as can be expected. for the last 12 months I have had 24/7 head tingling in random parts of the head with weird sensations too, plus head pain and now headaches daily. Went to GP who sent me for an MRI and Neurologist who was absolutely useless

Pitch of T changes when turning neck
I have had constant Tinnitus (7500 hz) for 7 years plus. Fortunately I am able to manage it. Despite every test (MRI, CT, Allergies) and engagement with multiple EN&T consultants they cannot find anything wrong. This appears to be a common thread on this forum. I also suffer on and off with Pulsatile

Day 1 as a CHADD member
I am a 64 year old married man who has suspected something wrong with me my entire life. When I was a child, ADHD was not something the world knew about. there was no understanding, no diagnosis, no help, and certainly no treatment. I just thought I was dumber than the rest of the world. The trouble

Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone could advise me about what to do going forward. In February 2023 I woke up one morning and I felt like the whole room was spinning and I was struggling to hear out of my left ear. This happened for over a week. I went to the doctors and they prescribed some antihistamine

Confusion after hearing test
Hi folks, just wondered if I can get some opinions please? I was thinking my tinnitus which is a mild high pitched ringing mostly in my right ear, was caused by noise damage/hearing loss. I've had a couple of decades of being a working musician in bands, but the last 10 years or so have been performing

I’ve had tinnitus for 3 years now (covid infection caused it) ENT wasn’t helpful as ears and hearing test are good for age.. and don’t want to see me again Anybody know best next steps? I’ve been wondering about nerve damage being the cause 🤷♀️ want to see the gp with an idea of what needs doing

Not sure what to do next
Hello. I suddenly developed loud tinnitus in my left ear 3 months ago and went to the doctors. It's a very high pitched ringing and varies between loud and very loud and sometimes has different pitches all at once like an orchestra. It's constant, 24/7. I'd had a very slight ringing for several months
