Looks like Haemochromatosis (too much iron) are you supplementing? I think the best way to reduce is to give blood...humanbean is the knowledgeable one when it comes to iron

Thank you. No I'm not supplementing. I eat meat a few times a week as well as lots of salmon and sardines.

Some people just do absorb and hold onto it better which is why testing before supplementing is always advised here.... many of us struggle to keep our levels up so will be slightly envious 🤗

Did you get a full blood count with your latest tests?

I guess my body may be doing something right😀! I didn't get a full blood count...what could a full blood count show? I do have pain in my abdomen that comes and goes but tests for a urine infection came back negative. But I have wondered if I have something bladder/kidney or liver related🤔. I also had/have sibo, which hardly shifted after a course of x2 antibiotics but it didn't budge at all so I probably still have it.

SIBO is more likely to result in anaemia

Request evaluation via GP for hemochromatosis

Just to add that I've been taking quite a bit of vitamin c in my twice daily adrenal cocktails, maybe maybe 250 - 500 mcg a day. I know that can increase iron absorption so I'll reduce that significantly.
