I am having a private blood test and have been sent a kit to take the blood with. I cannot face doing this myself, does anyone have any ideas where I could go to have the blood taken? Superdrug was suggested but I wanted to have this earlier than 9am. Live in Watford/Harrow/Uxbridge area

Looking for someone to take blood for private at home test
Which test kit
Is the kit for DIY finger prick
Or did you order a kit for private blood draw
Both Medichecks and Blue Horizon list wide number of clinics to get blood drawn
Or nurse to your home
But you would need kit for private blood drawn, not DIY finger prick kit
only do private testing early Monday or Tuesday morning, ideally before 9am, only drink water between waking and test
Looking at previous posts, doesn’t look like you are on levothyroxine?
If you are ….last dose 24 hours before test
If taking any vitamin supplements that contain biotin, stop these a week before test
Testing options and includes money off codes for private testing

I used to have mine taken at my GPS. It cost me £10.
I’ve since moved home and now use the Medichecks mobile phlebotomist service. The price has gone up to more than £50 so I’m using a clinic also booked through Medichecks.
My test will be too late to give a highest possible TSH reading but I’m not worried about that as I take T3 which always lowers TSH.
Which company did you buy the test from? Try your GPs or even the local hospital. Search online for a local private phlebotomist service.
Hi, we used thriva as they gave NHS GP notes which, hopefully , makes it easier to be heard. Our local endocrinology dept won't see my daughter despite being asked byb3 specialists She has booked for superdrug bot can't be done until 9am
So sorry to hear about your problems. Remember to follow the guidelines about blood tests. I hope you get the results you need. Come back here & post the results with the ranges.
Can you try for a different hospital if refused by your local? I think the GP has to allow for a second opinion. Strange that the local endos are refusing consultants’ requests.
Come back with your daughter’s results & get some help. It sounds as if you need it. Good luck with Superdrug.
There's a list of phlebotomy services on the Thyroid UK website here thyroiduk.org/testing/phleb...
I get mine done at Superdrug, but not all branches do blood draws
I believe that Superdrug offer this service, good luck .
I talked to the hospital recently about it and they told me that I can just bring my it to the flebotomy department , do it for me and then send it to the private lab.
You are welcome.
