I’m at my wits end
Hi I’m 26 and was diagnosed with FND approximately 2 and a half years ago. Initially I was admitted to hospital for 6 weeks of testing. The one thing they did find was calcification in my basal ganglia(responsible for initiating movement). During that stay it was believed I had stiff person syndrome

What is a vegan? A controversial view...
It is not about how you eat a
healthy
lifestyle. After all "
living
" on oreos would be a vegan lifestyle, but only if you adopt that for the animals should you be able to call yourself a vegan.

Organic bean soup with crispy black chick peas instead of croutons. 🥣
Hi everyone, Here's some soup I made tonight with a tin of organic mixed pulses onion garlic and tomatoes with chilli which I blended. Instead of croutons I often gently fry some chickpeas in a little olive oil, they are lovely healthy and gluten free. I love these black chickpeas as well so will

Pork paprika recipe 564kcal pp
Excuse the pic as it's not a fanciful presentation! Anyways, pork paprika is one of my families favourite meals. It used to be a crazy 1112 kcal for my portion! Which is crazy! I don't even remember how it was so high although I use to use a ton more cream and double the rice. Anyways... Of course feel

Living healthy with PD
I have been a patient of PD for last 2 years and my age today is 56. My neurologist suggested me to take rasagellin 1 mg initially for 9 months and then prescribed pramirol SR 0.26 mg 3 tablets twice a day. He suggested me to run 5 KMs a day. I am now taking rasagellin 1 mg one tablet and pramirol SR

Livial versus generic Tibolone
Having been on Livial for many years with great results I was given generic tibolone some months back and wonder if this could be the reason for return of some symptoms particularly lack of energy and depression types symptoms?

Just arrived!
I was diagnosed with CLL in 2008, at the age of 57. After 2 years of watch-and-wait I was referred to King’s College Hospital in London and had FCminiR chemo (Arctic Trial) over a 9 month period. I was able to work full time until the end of 2013, and have taught short courses on and off since then.

Green Tea, Fish & Fish Oils
So this past week I have been eating some things I shouldn't have, and I have paid the price. Every time I go to the movies, it happens, I eat something I shouldn't eat, even if I ate so perfect for days, I get to the movies and the Nachos start calling my name, or the popcorn, or the ice cream dibs

Are there alternatives to an epididymectomy?
I've had repeated episodes of left sided testicular pain due epididmytis. My urologist clears it up with Celebrex and/or antibiotics. I had a vasectomy in November 2018. The pain started up again 5 weeks ago. I'm on both medicines. The doc mentioned an epididymectomy. I'm wondering about the procedure

"Medicine" for our mind?
Our mind has more power than we think, it influences our wellbeing, our feelings (also pain feeling), our health, maybe even our healing power. It can help or makes things worse... Here most of us are thinking about cancer every day, it takes our energy. Yes, it is important to be informed, to try to
