In the depths of health anxiety yet again…
This, coupled with the fact that I suffered from
health
anxiety
anyway, meant that I was terrified that it was almost certain that the same fate would fall on me.

As you probably already know I struggle with
health
anxiety
this weekend I was in Boston hanging out with friends and last night while we were at our Airbnb I got a really bad stomach ache which caused me to become extremely anxious.

2 week cough with green phelm
I’m on my second lot of antibiotics (amoxicillin 500mg) 3 times daily but feel like I’m not making much progress, I cough so hard and produce green thick mucus, surely I should be feeling some benefits by now, I’m just so worried and I also suffer

Anxiety and P.A.
I had not really been prone to anxiety or depression until 3 years ago when after lots of difficult times in addition to my physical
health
issues, I started to suffer terribly with general
anxiety
and a whirring unsettled state of mind. Lots of crying.

Anti coagulants or blood thinners?
A friend has recently been diagnosed with AF and another friend told her one of her drugs was a blood thinner. We were on a zoom call and I chipped in saying it wasn't a blood thinner it was an anti coagulant. The friend said that her husband (with AF) was on blood thinners. I started to doubt myself

Feeling Disappointed
Following an ablation for SVT in January 2021 I have been problem free for two and a half years (at least heart wise). I began to feel breathless about three weeks ago and now am experiencing fairly regular runs of af. I have had an ablation for af in the past as well as surgery to repair leaky valves

Had some positive thoughts about anxiety and wanted to share
There is ample evidence that gut
health
impacts mood and consequently
anxiety
. This was also from my late night ChatGPT session. - Start having "expansive" thoughts. This is something I got from a YouTube video.

Traditional Mediterranean diet and warfarin
I am 5 weeks post mechanical valve replacement. I'm on 8/7 alternating warfarin. I am 26 and was brought up on a Mediterranean diet which I have not been following since discharge because I have been avoiding the higher vitamin K foods. I have also been eating much more meat and high protein food than

Phrenic Nerve damage on top of everything else.
Morning all Please help me pick the bones out of this one. Just wondered if anyone on here had their Phrenic nerve damaged during their open heart surgery? I saw my Thoracic surgeon yesterday, and he said it was quite common, but I've never heard anyone talking about it on here. It causes paralysis

Anything that helps with fatigue/tiredness?
I also have
anxiety
and I'm wondering how much my mental
health
and perspective are affecting how I feel and making me feel negative about my job. Has anyone found anything that helps them? Like supplements, teas, specific exercises, something to do with mental health etc.? Thank you in advance.

I’m so scared so much that i keep thinking what if I don’t survive the procedure I’ve written letters to my mum husband

Hello again. Questions with AF medications
I occasionally suffer with
anxiety
, and I guess with this latest
health
problem, this hasn't helped me too much with it. I have read though that beta-blockers, such as what I'm currently taking (Metoprolol) and others are actually sometimes prescribed for people with anxiety.

Another bisoprolol query
I take 2.5 mg of bisoprolol daily and in normal sinus rhythm a steady heart beat of 65 bpm. I've had three 40+ hour episodes of AF so far this year and was admitted to A & E during last episode. I had increased bisoprolol dose to 3.75 twice a day while in AF . The doctor in Same Day Emergency Care

Doing the rounds of doctors again.
Early last month I went to Japan and met my daughter who's living over there. As we set off I was getting quite short of breath and my daughter (who is a doctor) started quizzing me as to why I was short of breath. I did try to brush it off-saying I was old and unfit but she kept persisting and told
